Olivia Bos

“An artist, who chooses makeup as a medium”

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Olivia and I was born and raised in London Ontario. I always enjoyed painting and playing dress up as a kid. When I got my makeup done for 8th grade graduation was the first time I thought I could have a career as an artist.

I attended John Paul II high school which fortunately had a wonderful art program. My high school art teacher was the one who made me fall in love with art. To this day I still use prompts from her assignments and pull inspiration from the fine arts masters she taught me about.

At 18 years old I was lucky enough to have parents who supported my art career and sent me to LaSalle College in Montreal to study beauty and FX makeup. Being in an environment unique from where I grew up expanded my creative ideas while I was simultaneously studying techniques to bring them to life. It was a valuable experience that helped me be the artist I am today.

Since graduating College in 2022, I have returned to London Ontario to begin my career as a freelance makeup artist. I am filled with joy and certainty that I have chosen the right life for me, I love what I do. I am an extrovert and a sensitive person and I enjoy spending your special moments with you. I love the adrenaline of a wedding morning and the hustle of a film set. I consider myself lucky to work in a field that allows me to travel and visit family/friends between gigs. I would say the best part of my job (besides making art) is all of the people I get to meet.

Cheers to future projects and connections!
